Alamo Travel Group is highly committed to visibly demonstrating its good corporate citizenship. Pat has an affinity for helping the Hispanic community and efforts that strengthen ties between Mexico and the U.S. Patricia is Chair Elect of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is the former Executive Vice Chair of the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce, an organization that represents over 450,000 Hispanic business owners in Texas. Pat chaired the committee that organized the 37th Annual Convention in San Antonio. She is Past Chairman and serves as Treasurer of the Association of Mexican Entrepreneurs (Asociación de Empresarios Mexicanos-AEM), which helps entrepreneurs to launch and expand businesses and contribute to San Antonio’s economic development.
Patricia is Charter President of the Rotary Club Amigos Internacionales. She is also very involved and is a Member of the American Express Business Travel Advisory Board. Patricia works to preserve one of San Antonio’s key tourist attractions, the Missions, by serving on its Board of Directors which raises funds for San Antonio’s historic Missions, including the Alamo. Patricia is also a board member of the Chamber Orchestra of San Antonio and she is also a member of the Nursing Advisory Council that provides guidance and advice to the UT Health Science Center, which is part of the number one industry in San Antonio, the Bio Medical Industry.
